ABOUT US

PLUS ULTRA ROBOTICS

Our team, “Plus Ultra Robotics”, is a community team based in the Monterey Bay region. We are a part of FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics. Plus Ultra focuses on empowering young minds from traditionally underrepresented groups in underserved communities, supporting students from as young as four years old through high school. The students we support are provided the opportunity to learn STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math) through the competitive FIRST Robotics programs/competitions, free of cost.
Our FRC team, which is made up of primarily high-school students, as well as a few middle schoolers, encourages our students to learn and refine many skills. We also mentor younger students in entry-level engineering skills.

FIRST LEGO LEAGUE

FIRST® LEGO® League introduces STEM to children ages 4-16* through fun, exciting hands-on learning. Participants gain real-world problem-solving experiences through a guided, global robotics program, helping today’s students and teachers build a better future together. FIRST LEGO League’s three divisions inspire youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, and design skills through hands-on STEM learning and robotics.
